Chadron Battles For C1-8 Title, Sioux County Hopes To Clinch Playoff Berth

Playoff berths and seeding are on the line tonight as 11 and 6 man football enter the final week of the regular season.

Chadron is at home playing Ogallala for the C1-8 district championship. A Cardinal win would cap off an undefeated regular and guarantee them a favorable home game in the 1st round of the postseason.

Ogallala needs the win just to make the playoffs.

Kickoff is at 6:00 pm tonight on AM 610 KCSR and Chadrad.com. Our preview show coverage starts at 5:30.

— Barring any chaos, Crawford will miss the playoffs and close out their season on the road at Minatare.

A win for the Rams would put the record at .500.

Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.

— Sioux County is hosting Banner County trying to protect a spot in the playoffs.

The Warriors are currently the last team in the field of 16 in D6, and a loss would most likely bounce them out.

Kickoff is at 2:00 pm this afternoon.

— Hay Springs travels to the top 6-man team in the state, Cody-Kilgore, simply trying to improve their seeding.

The Hawks are in the D6 playoffs and a win could possibly be enough to give Hay Springs a home game in the opening round.

Kickoff is at 1:00 pm.

— Gordon-Rushville makes the drive to Chase County tonight hoping to lock up a playoff bid. The Mustangs should be in even if they lose but they would drop to one of the last seeds in.

Kickoff tonight is at 6:00 pm.

— Lusk should be locked in to the #2 seed in the 9-man east standings, but a win tonight at Saratoga would solidify their position heading towards the playoffs.

Kickoff is at 5:00 pm.
