The Chadron boys avoided their 1st three game losing streak of the season with a 57-33 drubbing of Hemingford on Tuesday night.
The Cardinals survived sloppy play early and ended the first quarter on a 19-5 run for a 19-6 lead, capped off by a Kristian Bartlett buzzer beating three pointer.
Eight first half points from Dawson Dunbar allowed Chadron to extend their lead out to 34-19 at the intermission.
The knockout came in the 3rd quarter when the Cards outscored the Bobcats 11-4 to take 45-23 lead to the final period.
Cooper Heusman led the way with 15-points, while Bartlett and Dunbar each finished with 10.
Now 6-6, Chadron will welcome Alliance on Friday to the Bird Cage.
