Chadron Boys & Girls Combine For Six Golds At Conference

The Chadron boys and girls track teams each placed 3rd at the Western Conference meet on Friday in Sidney. Sidney won the boys championship and Scottsbluff took the girls’ side.

Tatum Bailey was the Cardinals only multiple event winner, winning the 100m hurdles and triple jump. Kyndall Carnahan had the Chadron girls only other gold in the 1600m.

The Chadron boys swept the hurdle titles as Rhett Cullers won the 110m and Malachi Swallow breezed in the 300m.

Chayton Bynes came away with a first place finish in the triple jump.

Colder temperatures and thunderstorms kept peak performances at bay with just a week and a half left until district meets fire up.

Chadron will have a week off until they close out the regular season with the Bayard B-C-D Invite next Friday.
