The Chadron High football team made a climb up the rankings this week after moving their record to 6-0 last Friday.

The Cardinals went from 9th to 7th in the Omaha World Herald and moved from 10th to 8th in the latest Lincoln Journal Star and NebPreps.com polls.

Chadron continued its defensive dominance with their 35-6 victory over Sidney to keep their season average of point allowed at 4.5 per contest. The other stat that hasn’t been mentioned much is that the Cardinals are +5 in turnover margin.

Chadron is on the road Friday in a rivalry game with 0-6 Alliance.
