Chadron Girls Golf Lights Up Mitchell Invite (Updated)

The Chadron High girls golf team had a breakout day at the Mitchell Invite on Thursday.

The Cardinals put together a season best score of 413 to place 2nd and Maralee Rischling fired a personal best round of 84 to take 3rd individually.

The performance comes just two days after Chadron failed to place a golfer inside the top 10 for the first time this season.

Mitchell had the top team score with a 383. Jacque Bowles of Mitchell was the top individual with a score of 80. Peyton Wise of Kimball fired an 82.

Raeleigh Bridges had a round of 107, Kenzie Pourier finished with a 110, and Gracie Jones shot a 112 to polish off the Cardinals scorecard. Jackson Smith ended her day with a 121.

Chadron returns to the course on Tuesday at Monument Shadows in Gering.
