Giving up just eight 2nd half points, the Chadron girls rolled Hemingford 57-23 on Tuesday night. It was a much more convincing win than the 46-30 victory over the Lady Bobcats in the Rotary Tournament.
Both teams were plagued by turnovers early, but the Lady Cardinals built a 20-10 1st quarter lead behind 10 points from Shea Bailey.
Chadron extended their lead out to 19 at the break, and by the end of he 3rd quarter Chadron pushed it to 28.
A 4th quarter without a Hemingford basketball helped the Lady Cards finish off their 11th victory of the season.
Olivia Reed battled a slow first half to finish the night with a game high 19-points. Bailey ended her night with 13.
Chadron is back in the Bird Cage on Friday night when they host Alliance.
