Chadron Girls Tie Season Best At Own Invite

The Chadron High girls golf team tied a season best round of 440 at their own invite on Tuesday at Ridgeview Country Club. The score was good enough for 3rd place behind Scottsbluff and Valentine.

Gordon-Rushville was 7th out of 8 with a 517.

The Cardinals were unable to push anyone inside the top 10 individually.

Raeleigh Bridges just missed out with her round of 105. 10th place was a 103.

Emily Krzyzanowski of Gering was tops with a 78. Anna Kelley of Gering was right behind with 80.

Scottsbluff’s team score of 357 was 38 strokes ahead of Valentine.

Maralee Rischling carded a 109, Gracie Jones tallied a 111, and Jackson Smith shot a 115 to cap off the Chadron scorecard.

Kylie Coomes led the way for Gordon-Rushville with a 112. Tessa Hurlburt fired a 122, Katie Coomes recorded a 141, and Tatiana Higgins finished with a 142.

The Cards will be at the Mitchell Invite on Thursday. Gordon-Rushville is in Gering next Thursday.
