Chadron Girls XC Drops To 6th In Latest Poll

The Chadron High girls cross country team plunged from a tie for 2nd down to 6th in this week’s Nebraska Cross Country Coaches Association Class C rankings released on Sunday night.

The Lady Cardinals were champions over the weekend at the Alliance Invite as Makinley Fuller claimed the top individual honors for her first win of the season.

Grace Pyle and Emma Witte also cracked the top 10 to help Chadron roll in dominating fashion.

Douglas County West and Arlington stay one and two this week. Sidney moved up from 5th to 3rd. Ogallala slipped from 6th to 7th.

Sidney is still #1 in the boys rankings with Chadron on the outside receiving two votes.

The Cardinals will have a stiff test this week as they run in Ogallala on Thursday.
