Grace Pyle led the Lady Cardinals with a 24th place finish in a time of 20:57. Makinley Fuller was just behind in 28th and Mackenzie Anderson was 36th. Micaiah Fuller, Aliyah Mills, and Leila Tewahade crossed the line in 62nd, 80th, and 92nd respectively out of 115 competitors. Boone Central/Newman Grove won the team title with 74 points. Douglas County West took second with 100 points. Carter Ryan carried the Cardinal boys with a 52nd place finish in a time of 18:11. Gavin Sloan, making his first trip, crossed in 59th and four time state qualifier Nathan Burch capped off his high school career in 69th out of 118 runners. Crawford’s Jillian Brennan was 51st in the Class D girls race with a time of 22:17.
