Postseason football continues in Nebraska and gets fired up in Wyoming today. 11-man and 6-man football join 8-man who began last week while all classes get started in the Cowboy state.
C1 5th seeded Chadron is hosting a playoff game for the first time since 2017 when they welcome 12th seeded Battle Creek to Cardinal Field this afternoon. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools who have both qualified for the playoffs well over 30 times.

Hay Springs is meeting Wallace in a 6 vs. 11 matchup in the D6 playoffs. It’s the first playoff appearance for Hay Springs since their run to the state championship game in 2018.
The pair met in the 2013 postseason when they were both 8-man, with the Wildcats prevailing 48-28. A Hawks win would give them a home game in the quarterfinals.

11th seeded Gordon-Rushville is in the playoffs for the first time and will take their 6-3 record to C2 #6 Lincoln Lutheran. The Mustangs haven’t won in the playoffs since a 2010 victory over Fillmore Central.

Sioux County is the 16th seed in D6 and has a season opening rematch with top seeded Potter-Dix at 5:00 pm. The Coyotes won the first meeting 62-9.
In Class D2 Leyton is at Osceola, Mullen hosts Ansley-Litchfield, and Sandhills/Thedford welcomes Mead.
In D6 Cody-Kilgore goes up against Stuart and Athur County gets Sumner-Eddyville-Miller.
Lusk is trying to get back to the 9-man 1A state championship game and it starts with a home game against Wind River tonight.
For the Tigers, both of the teams that handed them losses in the regular season are on the other side of the bracket.

Defending champion Southeast travels to Rocky Mountain and Pine Bluffs hosts Riverside.
Torrington is the top seed in the 2A playoffs and will host Cokeville.
