Chadron Takes 4th At Western ConferencePosted by Jeremy AndersonDate: April 22, 2021 8:15 pmLeave a comment164 ViewsBroc Berry was an eyelash away from a top 10 finish and the Chadron boys golf team took 4th at the Western Conference/Alliance Invitational meet on Thursday at Skyview Golf Course.Berry shot a season best round of 86, tied with three others for the 8th, 9th, and 10th place spot, but lost on a tiebreaker. Jacksyn Behrends was five strokes back with a 91.Crayten Cyza of Alliance was the individual winner with a round of 78, just one stroke in front of Cael Peters of Mitchell.The Bulldogs also won the team title with a 329. Mitchell was runner-up with a 341.Gordon-Rushville’s Jace Nelson finished 3rd in the invitational half of the meet with an 87. Teammate Tegan Snyder was three spots down in 6th with a 91.Crawford and Hay Springs were both in action as well. Payton Swanson led the Rarms with a 120. Gabe Varvel had a 120 for Hay Springs.Rounding things out for the Cardinals was Chase Olson with a 94, Shawn Schremmer with a 105, and Trey Hedrickson with a 110.Chadron is in Scottsbluff on Monday and then hosts their own invite next Thursday.
