The Chadron High volleyball team bounced back from Tuesday’s heartbreaking loss with a big win over Gordon-Rushville on Thursday, 25-15, 25-18, 19-25, 25-12.
Tatum Bailey had a ridiculous night at the net with 22 kills on a .327 hitting percentage.
Demi Ferguson, Marlee Pinnt, and Kenlie Boeselager had 5 kills a piece. Pinnt along with Jayrah Ngoi had 5 ace serves each.
Ferguson was a brick wall defensively with 4 blocks.
Jaleigh McCartney tossed around 37 of the Cardinals 38 assists.
Head Coach Blakelee Hoffman said, “I was really happy with tonight’s win. We played so much more relaxed and confident that made a big difference in our performance.”
Chadron will travel to Alliance on Tuesday for a showdown with the Class B top 10 rated Bulldogs.
