Chadron High’s Jacey Garrett etched her name into the record books this weekend.
The Senior libero set a new Class C-1 state record for most digs in a volleyball season with 712. The old record was 687 held by Kenzie Moeller of Pierce in 2019.
Garrett has accomplished this feat while playing her best volleyball of her Cardinal career, committing a low 49 errors in 35 matches.
Her 20.3 digs per match is the highest of her career, topping the 19.2 from her Junior year in which she committed 80 errors.
From season’s past, she has tripled her assist production, doubled her ace serves, and has more kills this season than she has the previous three combined.
