It’s expected that Miles will be named the new head coach at San Jose State. It marks a return to the Mountain West Conference where Miles coached Colorado State prior to his stint at Nebraska. Miles was released from Nebraska in 2019 and had taken on a role as a tv analyst of various networks. The Spartans have had just one winning season since 1993, back in 2011, and haven’t been to the NCAA tourney since 1996.
