Huskers Announce December Signing Class

It was the early signing period across the college football landscape on Friday and once again Nebraska signed a 3rd straight top 20 class under Scott Frost.

The class was led by a pair of highly rated Omaha area prospects. Four-star offensive line Teddy Prochazka of Elkhorn South and four-star tight end Thomas Fidone of Council Bluffs Lewis Central were the highest rated recruits.

During his signing day press conference Frost said the recruiting restrictions might have simplified Nebraska’s recruitment process because they had to narrow down guys a little faster than usual with kids not wanting to commit without visiting. He said .”relationships played a more significant role than ever with this class.”

Nebraska’s class settled in at 19th in the Rivals 24/7 rankings and was the fourth best in the Big Ten Conference behind Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
