Nebraska Meets Rutgers To Close Crazy Season

For possibly the last time this season, we have Husker football tonight here on AM 610 KCSR.

Nebraska will play Rutgers in the Big Ten’s champions weekend event that matches similar teams from opposite sides of the conference.

The Huskers lost to a very short handed Minnesota squad last weekend while Rutgers pulled out a 27-24 overtime win over Maryland.

There is no word if Nebraska native and former Husker quarterback Noah Vedral will be under center today after suffering an ankle injury in the win last week.

The last time Nebraska finished a season with less than three wins was in 1957. Pregame starts at 4:45 pm on KCSR with kickoff at 5:30.
