Nine On Track & Field Teams Make RMAC Honor Roll

Nine Chadron State College track and field student-athletes were named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference academic honor roll, in a release at RMACSports.org on Thursday.

The honor roll is comprised of student athletes who have carried a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average through at least two full semesters at their current school. From those who qualify, the RMAC All-Academic First Team and Academic Athletes of the Year are selected by a vote of sports information directors.

Being honored on the women’s team are Celeste Cardona (Mitchell, Nebraska), Carlie Collier (Dunning, Nebraska), Michaela Hill (Eaton, Colorado), Julianne Thomsen (Custer, South Dakota), and Madison Watson (Mitchell).

The men’s honor roll members are Noah Burtis (Berthoud, Colorado), Shane Collins (Bison, South Dakota), Joss Linse (Plattsmouth, Nebraska), and Logan Moravec (Gering Nebraska).

Taylor Stack of Western Colorado University was recognized as the men’s Academic Athlete of the Year, while the women’s award went to Zoe Baker of Colorado School of Mines.
