Crawford Girls 4×4 Brings Home Best Finish Of The C/D State Track Meet

Seven more medals were brought home on the final day of the NSAA State Track & Field Championships on Saturday.

The top finish went to the Crawford girls 4x400m relay team of Dalli Anders, Kylah Vogel, Kyler Gortsema, Kiera Brennan who finished 3rd in the Class D girls race in a time of 4:16.70. Brennan would add an individual medal in the 800m, capturing 5th with a 2:28.29.

Hay Springs’ Wesley Jacobs had a stellar performance in the Class D boys 1600m coming away with 4th place after a personal best time of 4:48.73. Crawford’s Ty Brady was four spots back in 8th with a 4:51.29.

Tyrah American Horse of Gordon-Rushville crossed the finish line in 5th in the Class C girls 1600m with a 5:33.59.

Haley Johnson of Gordon-Rushville and Skylar Edmund of Sioux County came away with 8th place performances in the Class C girls 800m and Class D girls 400m, respectively, with times of 2:25.55 and 1:04.13.
