The Hay Springs boys and Crawford girls won team titles at the Panhandle Conference track meet on Thursday in Morrill. For the Lady Rams it marks back to back championships.

Crawford gobbled up 5 gold medals along the way including a record setting performance in the 4x400m relay where the team of Dalli Anders, Kylah Vogel, Kyler Gotsema, and Kierra Brennan broke the old record held by Rushville of 4:21 since 1987, with a 4:19.

Anders also picked up a gold in the 100m and Brennan doubled up with a 1st place finish in the 800m. The Lady Rams 4×800 took top honors and Hannah Wasserurger claimed the girls shot put.

Sioux County won golds in the high jump and long jump behind winning performances from Hannah Krein and Skylar Edmund.

Dylan Raymer was a double gold medalist for Hay Springs in their winning effort, crossing the line first in both the 110m and 300m hurdles. Wes Jacobs eked out a win in the mile and Dylan Young topped the high jump.

Despite the low number of 1st place finishes, the Hawks had multiple placers in 8 events.
