Crawford Sweeps Lingle-Ft. Laramie

Crawford followed Thursday’s win over Edgemont up with a 43-36 win over LFL Friday. The contest was tied at 10 after one quarter of action, but the Rams were able to inch ahead in the second quarter with a 10-5 run for a 20-15
advantage at the break. Crawford extended their lead with a 12-8 run in the third. Lingle-Fort Laramie
outpaced the Rams in the final quarter 13-11 in an effort to come-from-behind but the attempt fell
short.

The Rams had two players in double figures, with Carter Rudloff leading the way with 16, followed by
Hayes Frahm with 11. Frahm also had seven steals on the night. Aidan Matthews earned a double-
double for LFL with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Saturday night the Crawford girls fended off a challenge by LFL in the second quarter and cruised to a 63-48
victory.

The Rams went up early with an 18-10 lead, but Lingle-Fort Laramie outpaced them in the second,
leaving Crawford with a slip 27-24 lead at half-time. The Rams re-doubled their efforts after the break
and used a 14-8 run to go ahead 41-32. The final eight minutes was fast and furious as the Rams netted
22 points and LFL added 16 to their side of the board.
