Five days after clinching a spot in the girls D2 state tournament with a win over Silver Lake in the D2-6 district championship, the Crawford Rams learned that they will open against O’Neill St. Mary’s on Monday, March 7th.

The 6th seeded Rams will take a 20-4 record into the contest slated for 6:45 MT/7:45 CT at Lincoln’s North Star High School.

3rd seeded St. Mary’s captured the D2-3 district title by beating Exeter-Milligan 56-32.

This is Crawford’s 3rd state tournament appearance, the previous two coming in 2014 and 2015. Both of those were first round exits.

St. Mary’s is in Lincoln for the 8th time in school history and the first since 2017. They were state title winners in 2015, runner-up in 2013 and 2016, and 3rd place winners in 2017.
