Crawford’s Brennan Heading Back To State XC

Crawford’s Jillian Brennan is heading back to the state cross country meet for the first time since 2018 after a 7th place finish at the D-6 district meet in Bridgeport on Thursday.

Brennan crossed the line in a time of 22:27, 12 seconds ahead of Hemingford’s Cyndie Kresl.

Bayard, Bridgeport, and Hemingford all earned team trips.

Hemingford’s Zane Hinman was the lone area boy from the D-6 meet to make his way to state after a 15th place finish in a time of 19:28.

The Bayard boys snagged one of the automatic team spots.
