Fall Sports Practices Begin In SD, Nebraska & Wyo Start Next Week

High school fall sports practices are still a few days away in Nebraska and Wyoming, but South Dakota started conducting its workouts on Thursday.

Football in the Rushmore state starts a week earlier than Nebraska and Wyoming, kicking off on Friday, August 20th.

The following week will be tennis, volleyball, cross country, and boys golf.

In Wyoming, football, volleyball, and cross country are the only fall sports.

Nebraska offers football, volleyball, cross country, softball, and girls golf.

Our first sports broadcast on KCSR will be Chadron High’s football game at Chase County on Friday, August 27th.
