Demi Ferguson had 16 kills on a .394 hitting percentage and Tatum Bailey added 12 kills as the Chadron High volleyball team rolled past Gering on Thursday night 25-22, 25-24, 25-17.
Bailey added 3 ace serves on the night. Jacey Garrett came away with a game high four aces.
The win puts the Cardinals back above .500 at 3-2 on the season.
Head Coach Blakelee Hoffman says he team rebounded well after a sluggish first set, “After a slow start in the first set, we found our groove and kept the momentum going through the end of the match.”
Kenli Boeselager protected the net with four blocks.
Jaleigh McCartney pushed out 30 set assists. That moves her season total to 132, or an average of almost 8 per set.
Chadron will tangle in a triangular with Bridgeport and Sidney on Tuesday.
