Five Eagles Recognized By USTFCCCA

Five Chadron State College outdoor track and field student-athletes received all-region honors for the 2021 season, it was announced this past week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association at ustfccca.org.

To earn the honor, an athlete must be among the top five individuals in their events in their region. In addition, each member of a region’s top three relay teams receives the distinction.

For the NCAA South Central region, those members of the CSC team include Jourdaine Cerenil, of Pine Bluffs, Wyo., in the women’s high jump; Shane Collins, of Bison, S.D., in the men’s hammer throw; Naishaun Jernigan of Springfield, Mass., in the men’s long jump; Brodie Roden of Riverton, Wyo., in the men’s 400 meters; and Quest Savery, of Miles City, Mont., in the men’s javelin throw.
