Five Football Games Added To CSC’s Fall Schedule

Chadron State College, Black Hills State University, and South Dakota School of Mines have announced a 5-game fall football season.

Each of the 3 will play the others home and away with Colorado Mesa University the fifth game for each. All four schools are members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, but the games will be non-conference because the RMAC has pushed its official season to the spring.

Chadron State starts Oct 10th at noon in Grand Junction, Colo, against Colorado Mesa, then has its 2 home games with South Dakota Mines at 5 PM on the 17th and Black Hills at 2:00 PM on the 24th.

The Eagles then finish up with back-to-back trips to South Dakota, meeting Mines at 4:00 PM on Halloween, and after a bye on Nov 7th traveling to Spearfish on Nov 14 for a 1:00 PM.

Mines and BHSU play in Rapid City on Oct 10 and in Spearfish Nov 7. Black Hills hosts Colorado Mesa Oct 17 while Mines travels to Grand Junction the following week. BHSU has Halloween off while Mines has its bye the final week of the season.

The schedule is subject to revision, should the feasibility of playing contests change in the future.

Each participant is expected to comply with NCAA Resocialization of Sport principles issued by the association this summer.

Information about spectator attendance, as well as promotions and special occasions, will be made available at a later date.
