Crawford had to wait two extra weeks to start their season after Edgemont cancelled their football season back in mid-August. The Rams finally took the field on Friday night and did so in a big way with a 77-7 win over Banner County.
The Rams will get a big test in the home opener next Friday against undefeated Potter-Dix.
— The Hay Springs football team was handed their first loss of the season on Friday at Arthur County 48-26.
The Hawks return home next Friday to face South Platte in a noon kick off on KBPY and Chadrad.com.
— Gordon-Rushville sprang the upset of the night, holding off Mitchell 30-28 to grab their first win of the season.
It marked the 3rd week in a row the Mustangs faced an undefeated opponent.
They host Bennett County next week.
— The Hot Springs Bison are 3-1 after rolling over Bennett County on the road Friday 49-0.
The Bison are on the road next Saturday at Rapid City Christian.
— The Wyoming 9-man top ranked Lusk football team ran into a buzzsaw in their first game of the season on Friday night as they were upset by Pine Bluffs 32-8. Pine Bluffs came in ranked 3rd.
The Tigers trailed just 12-8 at halftime before the Hornets dominated the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Lusk hosts Moorcroft next week.
