Football State Championships Close Out Season

The fall sports will wrap in Nebraska today with seven state championship football games.

Due to ongoing pandemic, all championship games have been moved to home sites except for the D6 game in Kearney.

Leading off this afternoon will be Archbishop Bergan and Ord in the C2 title game being held at Midland University. Kickoff is set for 2:15 pm and will be broadcast live on NET.

There will be a pair of 4:00 pm kickoffs. Burwell will host Dundy County-Stratton in D1 and Sandhills-Thedford is in Shickley taking on BDS.

At 4:30 Pierce hosts Adams Central in C1. Aurora and Elkhorn clash in Class B at 5:00 pm.

The D6 championship will feature Sterling and McCool Junction at 6:00 pm on News Channel Nebraska.

The nightcap will be Class A where Omaha Westside entertains Elkhorns South at 6:15 on NET.

The four games not on live television will be recorded and aired back at a later date.
