Four Cardinal Girls Place Top 15 At Panhandle Classic Meet

The Chadron girls placed five runners in the top 20 at Thursday’s Panhandle Classic cross country meet in Scottsbluff.

Micaiah Fuller led the way with a 4th place finish in a time of 22:31. She was 50-seconds behind the winner Talissa Tanquary of Sidney.

Jentsyn Fuller was inside the top 10 at 9th and the 3rd Fuller, Makinley, was 12th. Cardinals Grace Pyle and Emma Witte took 15th and 20th respectively.

Gordon-Rushville’s Tyrah American Horse was 6th.

On the boys side, Crawford’s Ty Brady captured 4th with a 19:20. Hans Bastron of Scottsbluff won the boys race in 18:07, 51-seconds ahead of 2nd place.

Caden Galbraith was the highest placing Chadron runner in 11th with a 19:49.

Frankie Johns of Gordon-Rushville took 14th.

The next meet is a week from Friday in Gering.
