Jace Freeseman dominated Aiden Hinrichs of Fillmore Central with a 10-1 major decision at 145-lbs to clinch his spot in the 3rd round of consolations. Fresseman started the day losing by pin, but rebounded in the 1st round of consolations, sneaking past Trent Stauffer of Milford with a 3-1 decision. Freeseman, 33-14, will face Quenton Ackley, 31-9, of Ravenna in his 3rd round consolation match on Saturday afternoon. Taylon Pascoe, 27-17, and Tucker Banister, 28-11, were both in the 2nd round of consolations, but Pascoe lost by tech fall, 16-0, to Jesse Drahota of Ravenna at 182-lbs. Banister was knocked out by a 9-0 major decision against Simon Schneider of David City. At 126-lbs Traiton Starr,32-16, suffered a pair of pins in 2:18 and 2:04 to end his season at 32-16. Teagan Snyder, 26-15, went winless in his tourney appearance losing by pin in his opener and a 3-0 decision in the first round of consolations. The Class C session will get underway at noon on Saturday.
