Friday Night Lights: Chadron Heads To Mitchell, It’s Homecoming In Hot Springs


The Chadron High football team has their toughest of the season tonight at Mitchell.

The Cardinals rolled over Gering last Friday to give head coach Mike Lecher his 100th win at the helm of CHS.

South Platte was shutout in Hay Springs last week and is still in search of their first win of the year.

— Hay Springs is at Minatre tonight trying to improve to 3-1.

The Hawks have put together a couple of impressive early season wins and Minatare has dropped back to back outings.

— Gordon-Rushville makes the long trip to Hershey riding a two game winning streak.

The Panthers are winless and haven’t had a game closer than 28 points.

— It’s homecoming in Hot Springs where the Bison take on 0-5 Lakota Tech.

The Bison come in at 4-1 and are jockeying for 11B playoff position.

— Lusk will go to Lingle-Ft. Laramie tonight for what will probably be the easiest game left on its schedule.

The Doggers are winless while the remaining slate for the Tigers features teams that are ranked or receiving votes in this week’s WyoPreps poll.
