The Chadron girls cross country team grabbed runner-up honors at the Scottsbluff Invite on Friday behind a shining performance from Makinley Fuller who took 2nd in a time of 19:56.
It’s the 3rd fastest time in school history and just :22 off of the school record.
Grace Pyle was four spots back in 6th with a time of 20:40 and Emma Witte was 11th with a 21:17.
Madison Seiler of Gering won the individual title, crossing the line in 19:47. Gering edged Chadron in the team scoring 23-30.
Ryan Carter was the highest placing Chadron boys with a 12th place performance in a time of 17:53.
Cameron Brauer of Sidney won the race in 16:41.
Sidney defeated Scottsbluff 36-41 for the boys championship.
