Greiman Makes RMAC Volleyball Honorable Mention List

Rylee Greiman of Windsor, Colorado was named a 2021 RMAC Volleyball Honorable Mention in a press release Wednesday by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Honorable Mention list is composed of players who, in a poll of the league’s coaches, received either a minimum of one First Team All-Conference vote or multiple Second Team All-Conference votes.

Greiman was one of two Eagles who played in every set of the 2021 season. As the team’s starting libero for most of their matches, she finished the season ranked 11th in the RMAC with 338 digs and 10th in digs per set with 3.71.

She proved her versatility to the team when she switched to outside hitter for the final eight matches of the season, coming away with 67 kills on 241 total attempts for an average hitting percentage of .183. Whenever there was a role that Head Coach Jennifer Stadler needed filled, Greiman would consistently be the go-to.

The RMAC Volleyball Player of the year award went to Rylee Hladky of MSU Denver. The outside hitter, who also received the 2021 RMAC Academic Player of the Year Award, led the Roadrunners to an 18-0 record over conference opponents. Her 344 kills and 3.44 average kills per set have helped push her team to a No. 1 national ranking and the No. 1 seed in the 2021 RMAC Tournament.
