Harrison’s Meidell Sits 4th In Saddle Bronc At NHSFR

Leif Meidell of Harrison recorded a score of 81 in Friday afternoon’s 2nd go-round of the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette and will head to the final go-round with a total score of 147. The 81 was the top score of any rider in the 2nd go-round.

Meidell’s score leaves him all alone in 4th place.

Taydon Gorsuch of Gering will make the finals of steer wrestling with the 4th best average of 10.76 seconds.

Wyoming cowgirl Rayne Grant of Wheatland sits 5th in barrel racing and Kaeley Hutchinson of Rozet 2nd in breakaway roping. Ashlyn Goven, also of Rozet, should be in the finals of pole bending.

Brylee Grubb of Spearfish, SD is a finalist in goat tying.
