Hay Springs Holds Off Crawford

Hay Springs outlasted Crawford in a race to 15 in a five set thriller on the volleyball court Thursday night.

The Lady Hawks took the first two sets 25-21, 25-23 and then Crawford returned the favor and won the next two 25-19, 25-23.

The game was tied at 12 a piece in the 5th set before Hay Springs sealed it 15-13.

Breely Smith and Samantha Toof had 10 kills a piece for Hay Springs. Toof also came away with 9 ace serves.

Jazlyn Smith led the way with 17 set assists.
