Hay Springs Moves Up In D6 Rankings

Brandon Davenport

The Hay Springs football team jumped from 10th to 6th in the latest NebPreps D6 coaches poll released on Monday.

The Hawks moved in after a week one win over Creek Valley and made the leap up as a result of upsets last week when Hay Springs was sitting idle.

This week provides a challenge for Hay Springs as they travel to 8th ranked Arthur County. The Wolves were handed a 77-33 loss by Cody-Kilgore last week.

Speaking of the Cowboys, they are at #3 and Potter-Dix is 5th.

As for the rest of Nebraska, Bellevue West (A), Bennington (B), Pierce (C1), Archbishop Bergan (C2), Burwell (D1), and Sandhills/Thedford (D2) lead the way in their respective classes.
