Chadron Closes Out Season At C1-12 Tourney Posted by Jeremy Anderson Date: October 27, 2020 428 Views Photo Courtesy: Jill Paopao The Chadron High volleyball team saw their season come to an end on Tuesday night with a 25-18, 25-20, 25-17 loss to Ogallala in the semifinals of the C1-12 subdistrict tournament. Ogallala advances to play Sidney in the C1-12 championship on Wednesday night. Sidney swept Mitchell in Tuesday’s first semifinal. The Lady Cardinals jumped out to early leads in both the first and second sets, including a 9-1 advantage in the opening set, but watched Ogallala march back each time. The Indians owned the third set, taking a 20-8 lead, before Chadron closed it to the final margin. Chadron will finish the season at 18-13 while the Ogallala/Sidney winner will advance to the district finals on Saturday.
