Chadron Has Rough Day At McCook Tournament

The Chadron High softball team had a rough day at the McCook Jaycee’s Tournament on Saturday, going 0-3.

The Lady Cardinals lost their opener 16-0 to North Platte in 4 innings.

In the consolation semifinal Chadron found itself in a battle with Holdrege, but stumbled 10-5.

An old rival awaited Chadron in the 7th place game as Alliance got the better of the Red Birds 11-2.

Chadron is now 2-7 on the season and is set to play at Gering on Tuesday.
