The Cardinals built a 14-7 halftime lead behind a 23-yard rushing touchdown from Dawson Dunbar and a quarterback sneak into the endzone from Justus Alcorn. Tied heading in to the 4th quarter, Chadron and Alliance exchanged touchdowns, but Chadron was able to pull off the 2-point conversion for a 22-20 lead. Following an Alliance touchdown, Gaswick had his kick return touchdown to clinch the win for Chadron. The Cardinals are now 5-1 on the season and host Gothenburg in a 6:00 pm showdown next Friday.
