Chadron, the 13th seed, will travel to 4th seeded Kearney Catholic next Friday. The Cardinals locked up a spot with a 28-15 win over Ogallala on Friday that ran their season record to 6-2. Kearney Catholic boasts a record of 7-1, and has Nebraska quarterback commit Heinrich Haarberg directing their offense. The Stars were in the playoffs last season, losing to Wayne 28-21 in the round on 16. Chadron last made a playoff appearance in 2018, falling to Pierce 45-12.
