Crawford’s Kolby Welling was 2nd at 160-lbs, cruising all the way to the championship match before losing to Ty Allen of Bennett County, 7-6, in sudden victory. Wesley Jacobs of Hay Springs placed 3rd in the 126-lb weight class, coming back through consolations to beat Reigns Provost of Bennett County in the 3rd place match. Carter Rudloff of Crawford earned 4th at 285-lbs in a round robin format that saw him earn his first win of the season with a :32 pin over Kane Wirkus of Rapid City Central. Crawford has a dual with Hemingford on Friday. Hay Springs is off for two weeks after the traditional Chadron High meet that would have taken place on Saturday, was cancelled for this year.
