The Mustangs started off the night with a 3-2 win over Bayard, taking the first two sets 25-17 and 25-15 before the Tigers snagged the next two by identical scores of 25-21. The final set went to G-R, 15-8. Gordon-Rushville pounced on Bridgeport in the finals 3-1, taking set one 25-16 and set two 25-13. Bridgeport stole set three 25-23, but Gordon-Rushville rebounded to win the fourth set 27-25. With the wins Gordon-Rushville improves to 24-9 and will play in a district final on Saturday.
