The Morrill Lady Lions nipped by the Crawford Lady Rams Friday in a come-from-behind 40-37 victory.

Crawford had early control of the contest, allowing just three points in the opening minutes for an 11-3 edge.

The pace was more even in the second quarter, with the Rams netting six and the Lions adding seven, but Crawford still maintained a seven-point lead at half-time.

Morrill gained on the Rams in the third quarter, assembling a 12-6 outing to make it 23-22 as the final period started. The Lions outpaced Crawford again the fourth quarter 18-14 to slide past the Rams for the narrow victory.
