Hot Springs Girls Win 4A Regional Golf Championship

Hot Springs Senior Jessi Schroeder fired a round of 85 to help the Lady Bison sweep the individual and team titles at Tuesday’s 4A Regional golf meet in Spearfish.

Hot Springs was 12 strokes better than St. Thomas More with a 399.  Along with the Bison and Cavaliers, Custer earned the other team qualifying spot.

Hot Springs packed the top 10.  Sydney Olstad carded a 96 for 5th place.  Ava Krush shot a 107 for 6th place and Jordan Conlon finished with a 111, good enough for 8th place.

Allyson Kattke just missed picking up a medal following her round of 116, but qualified as one of the top additional golfers in the region at 13th.

It’s now a three week wait until the state meet returns to Spearfish on June 7th and 8th.  In the meantime Hot Springs will attend the Douglas Quad next Tuesday.
