Jessi Schroeder of Hot Springs was one off the lead with an 89 to take 2nd place at the Belle Fourche Invitational on Thursday.
Fellow Lady Bison Sydney Olstad was another stroke back in 3rd with a 90. Two others also occupied the top 10. Ava Krush had a round of 101, placing 6th. Allyson Kattke was 8th with a 110.
Hot Springs ran away with the team title by 81 strokes over Custer with a 390.
It was the first action of the season for Hot Springs who had seen their first two meets canceled last week due to unfavourable weather.
The next outing is on Tuesday at a very crowded Douglas Invitational at Box Elder.
