Hot Springs Rolls Past Lakota Tech

Preston Iverson threw for three touchdowns and the Hot Springs defense scored on a fumble recovery and interception as the Bison rolled to a 54-0 win over Lakota Tech on Friday night. The game was called with 2:33 remaining in the 3rd quarter due to the mercy rule.

All three of Iverson’s touchdowns came in the 1st quarter.

Camron Maciejewski (Makeshy) opened the 2nd quarter with a 38-yd scoring run followed by a Landon Iverson touchdown run to push the score out to 35-0 late in the 2nd quarter.

A fumble return by Dylan Webb and a pick-six by Josh Kleinsasser gave the Bison a 48-0 lead at the half.

With a running clock in effect, Hot Springs ended it late in the 3rd on the legs of Colin Iverson and his 1-yd TD run.
