Hot Springs Still Getting Votes In FB Poll, RC Christian Drops In VB Rankings

The latest South Dakota media football and volleyball polls came out on Monday afternoon.

The Wall Eagles took a one spot jump up the 9A rankings from 5th to 4th and even received a 1st place vote as they moved their record to 6-0.

Hot Springs is still receiving votes in 11B after a 49-0 route of Lakota Tech last Friday to sit at 5-1.

Rapid City Stevens is now receiving votes in 11AAA despite just a 2-3 record.

There are three weeks left of the regular season for all teams in 11B through 9B, while 11AAA through 11 A still have four full weeks to go before the postseason begins.

Rapid Christian stumbled in this week’s Class A volleyball poll and Hill City just hung on after each team had a rough weekend in Sioux Falls.

Rapid City Christian went from 3rd to 4th and Hill City stayed at #5.

Hill City dropped a pair of games to ranked teams in Class AA and also dropped a match to a top 5 team from Class B.

The Comets took the same hits that Hill City did and added a 2nd loss to a ranked Class B team.

The two teams will meet at Hart Ranch on Thursday.
