At his press conference on Thursday, Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said that the Huskers will be getting some key pieces back for Saturday’s game at Northwestern.
Highly coveted Junior College wide receiver Omar Manning is “ready to play” and will see his first action of the season against the Wildcats. Manning was recovering from an undisclosed injury and absorbing the offense when he missed the season opener against Ohio State.
Former walk-on linebacker Luke Reimer, who is expected to be in the top rotation, is back after dealing with an ankle injury.
Frost also said that tight end Jack Stoll, who suffered an injury against the Buckeyes, is expected to be back this season.
The Huskers and Wildcats kickoff at 10:00 am on Saturday morning here on AM 610 KCSR.
