Huskers To Play Big Ten West Plus Ohio State, Penn State, And TBA 3rd B1G East Team

     The Big Ten Conference announced its 2020 football schedule yesterday, with each team playing 8 scheduled games and 9th game the weekend of Dec 19 against a division crossover opponent to be determined later.

     The season starts the weekend of Oct 24 and ends with the Big Ten championship game Dec. 19 in Indianapolis. No fans will be allowed at any game.

      Nebraska will face each of the other 6 Big Ten West schools, along with preseason Top-10 foes Ohio State and Penn State from the East Division.

       The Huskers open Oct 24 at Ohio State, then welcome defending West champ Wisconsin to Memorial Stadium on Halloween.

       After that, they go to Northwestern before hosting Penn State and Illinois on back-to-back weeks. 

      The Huskers make the short trip to Iowa on the Sat after Thanksgiving, then go to Purdue before Minnesota comes to Lincoln.       

The Big Ten didn’t say when the final crossover opponent will be released. Television information and start times will be announced at a later date, as well as any Friday or ‘special date games’.
