Jackson Makes One Year Return To The Broncos

General manager George Paton’s inaugural offseason in Denver got even better when safety Kareem Jackson agreed to return to the Broncos.

The deal is for one year and could be worth up to $5 million. Jackson had become a free agent when the Broncos declined to exercise his $10 million option for 2021.

Jackson’s return adds to a successful defensive haul for Paton, who has also retained Justin Simmons, Von Miller and Shelby Harris this offseason while adding free agent cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller.
